Things to do in Chelsea AL

Families can spend the afternoon at Pelham Civic Complex, where ice skating is amazing on either of the NHL-sized rinks. There’s lots of additional offerings at the Civic Complex, but ice skating is by far the best. The Chelsea Public Library is a great place to go to find books for the entire family, but there’s also a plethora of fun special events taking place throughout the year. From puppet shows to movie nights and more, the library provides free entertainment for all ages. Deer Valley Links is a great 9-hole golf course with driving range for Chelsea residents who enjoy this sport actively or as a pastime.

Time to Eat in Chelsea

Hartley’s Down Home Kitchen has home cooked meals that won’t disappoint. Fried chicken and chicken and livers are two popular entrees, but the fixin’s are what bring many people back. Not only is the food cooked just the way you remember from grandma’s kitchen, the atmosphere takes you back to that country kitchen you lavished so much. Sanpeggio’s Pizza is a great little local spot for anyone who loves a great pizza pie, and Johnny Ray’s BBQ is a can’t miss eatery for Chelsea residents who understand that great BBQ is a requirement in the south.
